Rural Empowerment had a productive meeting with Wor-Wic Community College (WWCC) in Salisbury, Maryland, to offer a 16-week Cybersecurity non-credit coursework. WWCC covers three counties on the eastern shore of Maryland: Worcester, Wicomico, and Somerset. The partnership between Rural Empowerment and WWCC aims to provide high-paying jobs in these rural counties through skilled training.

Jay Challa and Vinai Thummalapally of Rural Empowerment thank Dr. Deborah Casey, President, Dr. Kristin Mallory, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and other staff at WWCC for hosting at the campus. Thanks to Maryland Secretary of Higher Education, Dr. Sanjay Rai, for encouraging RE to partner with WWCC.
